Settings

General settings for the account, local settings, and flexible proxy rule configurations

โญ Account

  • Change password: Click Change password and Save.

  • Turn on 2-Factor Authentication: Using 2FA application to activate 2FA for each login

  • Login activity: Record the login history of the account on different devices.

โญ Local Settings

  1. General for IP Check Detector

This feature is activated from the Advanced plan onwards. Upgrade now.

  • IP check interval: Set the time for the system to check for IP changes. If you set it to 60 seconds, the system will check once every 60 seconds.

  • Proxy auto-disable for IP change: Select 'Turn On' to activate the IP change detection feature, which will automatically disconnect.

  1. Port settings

  • Port forward: Set up port number for your proxy added to port forward.

  • Port IPv6: Set up port number for your IPv6 proxies created from IPv6 Infinity.

  1. DNS Settings

The DNS of the proxy isn't always accurate, and you may occasionally encounter DNS leaks. Therefore, Proxy Booster allows you to choose your DNS server.

  • DNS Proxy: Use the DNS of the proxy

  • Google: Use the DNS of Google

  • Cloudflare: Use the DNS of Cloudflare

  • Custom: Custom preferred DNS server and Alternate DNS server.

โญ Custom Rules

You can create custom rules in Proxy Booster's premium plan. Upgrade to use this feature.

  1. Primary proxy allow list: The list of domains in the whitelist of the primary proxy.

  2. Secondary proxy allow list: The list of domains in the whitelist of the secondary proxy.

  3. Non-proxy list: The list of domains in the whitelist of the local IP. In the other words, domains in non-proxy list will never use a proxy.

The domain list will have the following format:

  • docs.proxybooster.net: An exact domain.

  • *.proxybooster.net: All subdomains of proxybooster.net, such as docs.proxybooster.net, analytics.proxybooster.net,...

How do the rules work?

  • If a domain is in both the system's default bypass list and the allow list, the allow list takes priority.

  • If a domain is in both the primary and secondary allow lists, the primary list takes precedence.

Sites not in the system's default will need to be run once for the system to learn them.
