Set up proxy on Chrome and Firefox

Set up a proxy in a single Chrome profile with Proxy Helper extension

  1. Install Proxy Helper from the Chrome Web Store

  1. Click on the extension icon in the upper right corner and pin Proxy Helper extension

  1. Right-click and select the Options to configure the proxy.

  1. Copy IP port forward from Proxy Booster.

  1. In the settings window, input the proxy in the fields corresponding to the selected protocol. If you’re unsure about the type of proxy protocol, just fill all.

  1. If using a private proxy with authorization, enter your username and password in the designated fields.

  1. In the list that appears, choose the right protocol of your proxy. To deactivate the proxy, choose Direct.


Set up a proxy in a single Firefox profile with Proxy Toggle extension

  1. Install Proxy Toggle from the Firefox Browser Add-ons

  1. Pin Proxy Toggle to Toolbar.

  1. Right-click on Proxy Toggle and select Manage Extension

  1. Click to Proxy Toggle.

  1. Choose Options and fill the IP port forward copied from Proxy Booster and paste to Proxy Toggle

If you’ve done it correctly, the proxy will be activated. You can set multiple proxies on different browser profiles at the same time, with each proxy having a different IP address.
