# Forward to Port

Adding a proxy to the Proxy Manager is just the beginning of managing your proxies. To save bandwidth and speed up your network, you need to set up local port forwarding.

Follow the instructions below to use a proxy with Proxy Booster:

## ⭐ Add forward port

4. Run forward proxies

To connect via an IP port forward, you need to "Start" to activate the connection.

* Click "Start" one or bulk proxies of Forward Proxy
* Copy the IP port forward
* Configure on another app or device

If the IP port forward is active, app or device will have a connection with IP address of proxies.

## ⭐ Add secondary proxy

Secondary proxies are added when you want a backup proxy. This means you can use two proxies at the same time. You can set rules to choose which proxy to use for different websites while you're browsing.

1. Hover a proxy
2. Click Details
3. Add secondary proxy
4. Custom allow list
5. Click to "Save"

{% hint style="info" %}
If you have a primary proxy at 127.0.0.1:1008 and add a secondary proxy at 207.148.72.116:30100 with an allow list for \*paypal.com, all traffic to \*paypal.com (including subdomains) will route through the secondary proxy 207.148.72.116:30100 instead of the primary one.
{% endhint %}

## ⭐ Check IP Change

Every 60 seconds, Proxy Booster will check the current proxy's IP address to keep a record of any changes in history.

1. Hover a proxy
2. Click Details
3. Check the history of IP changes

<figure><img src="/files/6wHNVtVGguB7p48nTQx6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can adjust the IP change interval in the settings menu. The minimum time between two intervals is 10 seconds.

## ⭐ Change port forward

1. Click More&#x20;
2. Choose Change port forward
3. Select another port
4. Change to save

## ⭐ Copy and Delete Proxy

1. Choose proxy
2. Click symbol copy to copy in bulk
3. Click symbol delete to delete in bulk

{% hint style="info" %}
Once a proxy is deleted, it cannot be restored.
{% endhint %}

## Display settings

1. Click symbol of display settings
2. Choose the info you need to be shown

* Proxy address
* IP port forward
* Current IP
* Country
* City
* Status

By following a few easy steps to add a forward port, you can use the proxy more efficiently. The usage dashboard will keep updating to show how much bandwidth you’re saving, and it can be a lot!
